A new edit of this great remake, now featuring Goblin’s original legendary 1978 score. The unrated director's cut of Snyder's film has been used as a source, from which approximately thirteen minutes of footage (mainly redundant dialogue and weak character moments) have been removed or re-edited to enhance the film’s pacing and intensity. Most of Snyder’s excessive slow-motion shots have been adjusted for a smoother flow. The film now features an entirely new soundtrack combining Goblin’s iconic score with newly designed sound effects and cues. Extensive color correction has been applied, and the edit presents a hybrid, mostly open-matte version that reveals more of the original picture. The result is a darker, more violent, and distinctly “vintage” reinterpretation of Snyder’s remake, one that feels a bit closer in spirit to the original Romero/Argento classic.
Comes on a BD-R disc with printed disc and colour cover and blu-ray inlay .
